Did anyone hear about this?

I heard on FOX news on way to work today.  Unreal, they said that the shirt displayed a "firearm" and that is why they banned it.  I really hope they are not speaking of Isaac Davis holding a muzzleloader!?!?!

IMO, yet another example of hand-wringing, pants-pissing, nanny-staters  hard at work.

take heart, the second to last sentence in the article:

"Outraged moms and dads and students lashed out on social networking and called the school district's patriotism into question."

So, there are some folks in the district with some spine.     Perhaps the NY crew should invite them to an Appleseed?  And perhaps the principal as well.
