Need staffing assistance at BSA event in IL 10.18.14

This is not an Appleseeds event.  Many thanks to the mods for allowing me to post this.  This event will be run under Boy Scouts rules which are quite a bit more restrictive than Appleseeds rules.  We need NRA Certified Instructors, Coaches and RSO's.  If you're not any of these read on we can still use your help!

The Ingersoll Scout Reservation is roughly an hour from Burlington IA and 90 minutes from Davenport.

The event is what scouts call a Camp-o-ree.  It's being held at the Ingersoll Scout reservation, London Mills IL ,10.18.14.  Scouts will camp the weekend and they're going to shoot.  We're expecting about 200 scouts and perhaps 50 adults to attend an event at The Ingersoll Scout Reservation.  We plan to have rifle, shotgun, archery (maybe two flavors) and air rifel.  We have a cadre of staff but need to beef it up for an event of this size


We need the following

1.  NRA Rifle Instructors
2.  NRA Shotgun Instructors
3.  NRA Range Safety Officers
4.  USA Archery/National Field Archery Association Coaches
5.  NRA Smallbore Coach


If you're not NRA certified we can still use your help.  You can work in the airgun and archery areas after receiving training (free) that will allow you to assist with archery and air gun. Everyone will need to take the BSA's 'Youth Protection Training'  this can be done either online or in the pre-event training.  It takes about an hour.

There is a possibility to for folks to become RSO certified before the event.  This would be an 9 hour course taught by a Chief Range Safety Officer.  There would be a fee for this - not sure how much but likely $65 or less, maybe much less.

Camp Ingersoll is located between Canton and Knoxville IL.  The event on 10/18 will be a all day affair. There will definitely be tent camping available Friday and Saturday evening.  There might be 'staff cabins' livable but not luxurious - think small shacks with cots.  There will definitely be tent camping available.

I realize this is a big commitment but please consider helping us.  To really run this well we're to need on the order of 20 volunteers - at this point I have 9 and life being what it is some of those 9 will not be able to make it.
