We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

The Old Guide

We have a one day Appleseed at North Berwick, Maine on September 13. Maine is still free. We will have four 10/22 loaners. One has a shortened synthetic stock, a Volquartsen trigger, extended mag release and auto bolt release. It is the "magic rifle" as five young or short Appleseeders have made Rifleman with this rifle. This is North Country Lady's rifle.

North Berwick is only about 35 miles from the Mass state line and 4 miles from the NH state line. It is a very good range and a hospitable club. They put canopies on the equipment line for us. So far we have only five shooters.

At Skowhegan three weeks ago a club member was so impressed with Appleseed that he presented us with two bricks of .22LR for kids to use. I will have them at North Berwick.

The North Berwick shoot will be TominCT's last shoot in Maine for a while.

As of last week I'm the same age as Sam Whittimore was on April 19,1775 and North Country Lady and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary.

Come on up and enjoy the freedom.
Our history is not a list of dates and places. It is a dynamic adventure of freedom and individual courage.
