Hi, all.

My son has a chance to shoot a 3p match this coming weekend.  He's been working through the NRA Marksmanship Qualifications at our local indoor range (50ft, .22lr) using their target rifles and slings.  He like to shoot this match (outdoor, 50yrd, .22lr) with his own rifle - a Marlin 795 - for fun.

I've been looking for sling swivels and a USGI loop sling to purchase for his use with this rifle.  So far, I've found places that have what I think are the right swivels, but I haven't been able to find somewhere with the loop slings on hand.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?  I'll need to get an order in ASAP if I'm going to get something before Saturday.

Alternatively, he might be able to borrow one of the club rifles...

Thanks!

If you are near Lexington Kentucky I'd be glad to loan him swivels and a sling.

The Appleseed store has cotton slings

don't know what shipping speed is like though.

See this thread for 1-1/4" swivels

Should you want a one inch wide, nylon, USGI type sling; Tech Sights had them earlier this year. I have an elderly Glenfield Model 25 (Marlin) with one inch fittings. The sling from Tech Sights is black; the hardware matches the USGI slings, but is one inch. Should you be interested....

Tech-Sights also has green 1 1/4 inch slings.
