A moral compass provides a basis for making decisions; an action is good or bad, right or wrong when viewed in the light of the individual's moral bearing. If no moral compass exists for the individual, then decisions and actions are made on the basis of purely subjective thoughts. This leads to "If it makes me happy, or makes me feel good, or if it's something I simply want to do, then it is right and good."

Thanks to all the lady's that made this past Appleseed weekend a success. Rachel, our shoot boss did an excellent job manning the firehose of instruction. Everyone gained a lot of knowledge from this event. Toyna, Anita and Sunny are all knocking on the rifleman's door. Persistance pays off.

Our manslave instructors performed their duties admirably. Thanks guy's for all of your dedication.

KNS Precision helps our mission by sponsoring our shoots. I recommend you check out their reduced m.o.a. front sites for your rifle.

Hopefully we'll get some feed back from instructors and shooters to this post.

I enjoyed working with another group of wonderful Texas women who all had terrific attitudes throughout the day .....  ^:)^ Each shooter showed substantial improvement. I was especially impressed with everyone's first target from the seated position.....wow, way to pay attention and apply what you learned!

Four new shooters jumped in and did great. Marcia and Kellie, our mother-daughter pair, went from learning how to work their rifles to shooting some nice groups in just one day. I sure enjoyed your enthusiasm for learning and the way you stuck with it and persevered - can't wait to have you on the line again. Janet and Alejandra came from the Girl & A Gun Club in San Antonio and helped each other out by shooting each other's targets off and on.  ;) Y'all come back to another shoot or two and pick up some Rifleman patches and orange hats, OK?

It was great to see Sunny and Anita working to apply what they've learned in previous Appleseeds, and moving closer to their patches. Keep at it!   :~

A big thank you goes to our blue hats - Tonya, for her work in bringing Appleseed to Fredericksburg, and Two Wolves, for handling the lion's share of setup, taking great photos, and providing wise insight.

And many thanks to drip drop for being an excellent instructor, always ready to teach any point of instruction; El Tejano for working so hard to polish his history presentations and move forward towards his red hat; Twinkle Toes for cheerful and patient coaching of shooters and keeping his side of the line safe :), and Jeremy for a very well-prepared new orange hat and contributing to the shoot's success.

See y'all next time!
