This was a rather small event, but one which showed great promise. Only seven shooters were on line Saturday and five on Sunday. We were blessed to have two ladies who had never shot a rifle before and they made great progress. Yet another lady was present who was an accomplished pistol shooter, but I suspect had little experience with a rifle. She had a high score of 207!  O0  She brought along the baggage of fast pistol shooting, which means she had to struggle to overcome many bad habits. But obviously she learned a great deal and can now apply that to her pistol shooting. She is a dedicated shooter and local club member, and definitely plans to return and get that patch. She has been instrumental in helping us schedule these events and helping us in every way possible with arrangements. Yet another club member, who had attended a previous event, was present and shot a 195. And his goal is also to earn that patch. He also has been very helpful and supportive of our events. In fact, this whole club has consistently been helpful and a joy to work with. And with the positive experience of the two club members mentioned, I believe we can expect much greater participation at these events next year. For example these two are already talking about scheduling even more events than normal next year and possibly adding a Ladyseed. Two brothers attended and showed much enthusiasm and promise. Six of these shooters were first time Appleseeders.

The success of this event is due to the highly talented and enthusiastic instructors who attended, some of whom traveled great distances to be there. Many thanks to you guys.  O0
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add "within the limits of the law" because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.  Thomas Jefferson
