Hot sticky July weather in the Northeast, nothing new about that! But, Appleseed goes on and 7 shooters came out to Northern Chester County Sportsmans Club to lay in the sun to learn marksmanship skills, and sat in the shade to hear the story of April 19th, 1775.
Brian and Theresa joined us from Northern Chester County Sportsmans Club (our host club) and apparently are determined to return in the fall. Theresa thanks for encouraging Brian to come out, he left tired, but with a huge smile on his face. I am looking forward to seeing you guys often.
John, Jeanie and Rachel came down from the USMA at West Point and demonstrated uncommon determination in setting up their camp Friday evening in a downpour of Biblical proportion which lasted til just shortly before the Appleseed began on Saturday morning. Guys, I am grateful that you all felt that it was worth that experience and can't wait for you to come down and do it again, without the Biblical stuff.
Kyle and his father David had a regular shoot fest going between them. Kyle cleaned a Red Coat and scored Rifleman before Dad know he had even fired a shot. But not to be outdone, David came roaring back with a clean Red Coat and Rifleman score of his own. That must have been one very interesting ride back to Long Island for you two. I will be happy to see you come back anytime, you guys really raise the bar on each other and it was fun to watch.
Alex, Bill and I had a great time with all of you and look forward to your coming back whenever you have a chance.
A special thank you to Bill who traveled 7 hours to join us for the shoot. He is a special guy and we love having him whenever he wants to come home for a visit!

Glad to see those in the north are coming out (even if in small numbers)  in the heat.  Good luck.  Its got to get cooler one of these days  right??
