General Gage and the Bill of Rights -- cliff notes?

I attended my first Appleseed shoot in September 2011.  One of the talks given was how General Gage was the person most responsible for the Bill of Rights, as each of the first 10 Amendments was in direct response to an action or decision that General Gage made.

I have since read the Paul Revere's Ride book, but what I remember of that initial talk was that it was presented in a nice, tight, "Cliff Notes" version that made the links clear and (at the time, at least) memorable.

Is this talk/lesson written out anywhere?  If so, where may I find it?
