Yes, I have heard the same. IF the AWB is passed before the 19th we'll see what it contains.
As of now please plan on showing up at the Capital Building in Albany. If they pass a new ban and we remain quiet what message do we send.
I do agree with The Mrs. Let them hear us NOW. Make those calls, send your letters, emails, faxes......whatever.

 I think this should be in the general forum - not just NY.   we need as many feet on the ground as possible!
nowhere is the threat more grave than in ny.

if you haven't read it - read the provisions of the law - ammo would be rationed!  5 rds per deer permit! no internet ammo,  per-ban mags outlawed...  no SINGLE evil feature...  Compensators added to the evil feature list (not just flash hiders) so even a ported barrel semi is an assault weapon.

But know and let them know - that we will not turn them in, or sell them, and that WE WILL NOT NEGOTIATE.

remember Cuomo thinks himself the master negotiator and the republicans have fallen in line. Cuomo has created an onerous opening negotiating position.  WE HAVE TO GIVE UP NOTHING!

..I have been warning upstaters about the coming storm for over 4 long years and it now has arrived..  The march on Albany is still very relevant.  It is always a good idea to assemble and protest in the name of liberty against unjust immoral legislation, that is our duty as free men & women..
..Now will you go to Albany?..  out of a State of 19,000,000 how many still believe in America? 
Not the America on the jackets of our tyrannical run away politicians in the form of a hollow lapel pin of old glory.

Over in MA we've got enough that the capitol police will probably need to shut down a lane of traffic...and we're going to have to be very careful.

Anyone who's looking for cheap, quick printing can use http://blockposters.com to generate a high quality PDF that can be printed on a standard printer fed with 8.5"x11" sheets and then assembled onto a piece of cardboard. Don't use inkjet if it's going to get wet, and keep images simple, polite, and concise. Use black and white if possible, with as little color as possible; it'll show up more legibly on a news camera.

The Gun Owners Action League / GOAL page on Facebook (MA people) has details of the currently drafted legislation matching what just passed in NY, as well as a few discussions regarding slogans/posters.

Does anyone know where we are to meet on Saturday? In the concourse? Outside and where? If we are to stay on the sidewalk, which street? Not to mention, where to park, the plaza's parking garage? I've placed a call to find out but have not heard back yet.  Only thing I've heard is to meet in front of a building (withholding which one) but it wasn't specific.

‎*UPDATE* IN REGARDS TO THOSE INTERESTED IN CARRYING: We have some great news! The Albany PD Assistant Chief was in touch, and stated that concealed carry is perfectly legal and welcomed. They ask that nobody carry open, or bring any long guns, as it could be viewed as incitement. He also said that we are free to spread out onto any city property we would like, and he assured that his officers have no intentions of hindering us in any way. We also have been thanked for organizing this event by local law enforcement! THEY ARE ON OUR SIDE! A HUGE thanks to Joanna and Mike for giving me the heads-up on this so I could pass the information along.
