Oz  is Michigan's newest Orange Hat!  His real name is John Hodgson and he's from St. Joseph, MI.  John first shot with us in Watervliet in September and shot Rifleman his first event.  He came back to shoot Niles and i got my claws into him nicely asked him to take a hat and he agreed!  . 

John did a great job all day by RSOing and lending a hand with instructional points with shooters.  He also got to watch his daughter (Zazzles) shoot Rifleman and best his score by 14 points..."ouch" or "beaming father".  Don't know which.

Join me in welcoming Oz  to the cadre!

Thank you, I'm happy to be on board.  Everyone has been just fantastic (students and instructors) and I look forward to the marksmanship, the heritage, and the journey.   

Also, to answer ST2, "beaming father", not even a little "ouch"; after all, she's got my back!  She can out-run and out-swim me, too, and let's not talk about piano playing.  I'm just letting her think she's craftier, though.   :cool2:   I'm also thrilled with how she stepped up as AC over the weekend--in the long run stepping up like that will be more important in her life (and to everyone else) than the 231 although at the moment the 231 is SO cool!   ^:)^
