While over at my grandparent's house this evening, my Pa out of nowhere asks:


Pa: "Can you sight in my .30-06?"

Me: "Yeah, sure I can sight her in for ya."

Pa: "Good.  Don't take it to any of those indoor range places.  I want you to take it to one of your Appleseed shoots where you shoot it out a long ways.  Take it there and sight it in."

Did he give you two rounds of ammo:  one to shoot cold, then after sight adjustments another to confirm the rifle is zeroed?

I think you need 3. 2 for a group to make sure there are no rifle problems, then 1 to confirm.
