AAR Saratoga NY Gun Show Aug. 25/26, 2012

The Gun Show was met with Travers weekend at the track, famous horse race after co founder of race track.

This only means bumper to bumper traffic all weekend for miles around.

Detail at the show was Smurf, Gregch44, Nortatoga and myself.

Let me say it was great to watch these pro's talking to show goers. Most of time I sat and watched them in action, proud, table did get busy which got me into action. These instructors are great. And Gregch44 being from Boston was icing on the cake. I was very proud to be in their company. More so for them allowing me to work with them.

Several times this show took a twist, it brought a smile more then once when I heard show goers saying "I was hoping you guys would be here" or "There you are" and start talking. A few times there were lines to the table.

    Just doing what we do. It is not hard to promote something that you believe in.
I am always proud to be in the company of this group.
I think that we have to change Smurf's handle to Face, for he sure is the front man for this A Team. Way to go Smurf.
Nortatoga, fine job as well.

The Saratoga Gun Show is a GREAT EVENT!!!! R!sgx2 does a wonderful job of planning and setup of a public presence for the Appleseed program at this popular gun show!!!! He makes sure that his top-notch staff has all of the tools to present the features and advantages of Appleseed to everyone that enters the show.

It is great to have the chance to touch base with so many prior Appleseed students and at the same time explain the benefits of the program to new future students. The exposure is so very valuable to all. You know it really means a lot when people stop to give up a few minutes of their day to really listen and to think about the words you are saying. They truely have an interest, a desire and a need for the message that we offer. 

Gregch44 and Nortatoga are both EXCELLENT RIFLEMAN and the people realize that any program lucky enough to have them as staff instructors is definately a valuable program. A solid program that they do wish to attend. They walk away from your booth with every intention of coming to an Appleseed. And they will because of the desire to learn more.

This venue and similar events are well worth the effort that has been invested in them. My Appleseed journey started when I stopped to listen at the Appleseed booth in winter of 2011.
