We had a fantastic weekend to bring Appleseed to Central Oregon.   The Redmond Rod and Gun Club was a very gracious host for our first Appleseed at their facility.   Gary George met us at the gate on Saturday and was very accommodating at helping us get set up for the shoot.

The weather was fantastic all weekend, which helped the participants concentrate on the points of instruction all weekend.   While we did not produce any new rifleman, the participants all demonstated increased mastery of their shooting skills.   We are looking forward to the next event at Redmond Rod and Gun Club.  I am hopeful that  the participants will master the skills they learned and hone them through dry-fire practice at home.  If they come back to the next shoot and earn their Rifleman's patch.

We will continue to market Appleseed in Central Oregon and we look forward to instructing more shooters at the next event on July 14-15.

The very first Appleseed shoot at Redmond Rod and Gun club was a success and went very well. We had great weather and a fantastic facility to start the first of many more Appleseed shoots at the Redmond Rod and Gun Club.   Although we had a light turnout with only 4 shooters the next shoots will continue to grow and word of mouth and promo efforts continue to fill the line.

Many thanks to the Redmond Rod and Gun Club for having us out and allowing us to use their great facility.  Also thanks to all the members who stopped by to listen in.  Thanks to the instructor crew who drove long distances fo rthe first inaugural shoot in Redmond.  Especially RL who drove 5 hours to get there.

Our shooters showed marked improvement and the groups continued to shrink thoughout the weekend.  We even got to do some KD on Sunday.
