   Update on 2012 S&W Instructor Purchase Program:  still waiting for release of this year's form.  "Still not ready yet - should be soon - your name is on list to receive when we send out..."
   Am also told that 2012 list will include some Walther and Thompson Center products.  Meanwhile, buy Ruger and Henry...
  Appleseed denim shirts nearly ready for roll-out, too...

What credentials or certificates does S&W accept?

     Smith (at least in 2011) had two IPP sheets - one for NRA Cert Instructors/Coaches and one for various state Hunter Safety Instructors - offerings were similar but not exactly, e.g. the M&P15-22 was on the Hunter Ed Instructor sheet.  Appleseed Instructor creds good for EITHER sheet...and also for Ruger and Henry...
Expect S&W/Walther/Thompson Contender IPP sheet any time - will advise.

Any update on the S&W program?

Anyone ever try for an instructor program with Savage?
I can't find any info or email on their site.

It's funny how the slave states (New York/Mass/Conn/NJ) have so many firearms companies...
