Presenting Appleseed to 4H
« on: March 04, 2012, 04:49:27 PM »
The following link is to the first place winning presentation my daughter Regan (Arwen on the forums) did at the Georgia 4H DPA (District Project Achievement) at Rock Eagle on March 3, 2012.  She's already shot a rifleman score and she's looking forward to her 13th birthday this month when she can then get her orange hat.

KD Requal 2/22/19 at 600 yards AR15 Service Rifle 50/50
25m Requal 2/1/2020 with AR15 scored 247

Without a heritage every generation starts over.

That was a great presentation.  I wish you well in your future.  Your parents, Project Appleseed and 4H are giving you a strong foundation to build a successful life.
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

Well done, Regan! I saw how much effort you put into this most excellent presentation, and you would have been competitive at the state or regional level, had that been available to your age group. Can't wait to have you as an Orange Hat on my line. Congratulations and Huzza!

Great job Reagan!! You have improved so much since the IBC. Can not wait to see you with an orange hat!
"Darkness is returning to Paradise. Are you ready?" Johnny Drake

"From the desert has come a voice crying in the wilderness, and his name is John. Johnny Drake to be more precise. But ask his disciples and they will tell you his mission is no less defined than the mission of John the Baptist, who first introduced the Light from heaven to the world over two thousand years ago. The multitudes listened to John, who told them that Jesus of Nazareth was the Way to God. Then Herod toke John's head.
Now the question begs us: Will the world listen to Johnny Drake? And who will take his head?"   Quote from the book, "Sinner" by Ted Dekker

WOW!  Super job young lady!  And Ramblinwreck, you are doing something right - keep it up!  Do you mind if we clone Regan?  About 1000 will do nicely.
