Unbridled Liberty

Cave City, our first shoot of the year, sold out today.  Congratulations Cave City promo crew!

How many more shoots can we add to this running list?

For Liberty, each Freeman Strives
As its a Gift of God
And for it willing yield their Lives
And Seal it with their Blood

Thrice happy they who thus resign
Into the peacefull Grave
Much better there, in Death Confin'd
Than a Surviving Slave

This Motto may adorn their Tombs,
(Let tyrants come and view)
"We rather seek these silent Rooms
Than live as Slaves to You"

Criticism is the only known antidote to error.  David Brin

What a nation has done, a nation can aspire to.
Dr. Jerry Pournelle

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck."

A Goal for all of us. Nice work
"A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government." — George Washington

"Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it." --Mark Twain (1835-1910)

"A constitution is not the act of a government, but of a people constituting a government; and government without a constitution is power without a right. All power exercised over a nation, must have some beginning. It must be either delegated, or assumed. There are not other sources. All delegated power is trust, and all assumed power is usurpation. Time does not alter the nature and quality of either." ~ Thomas Paine

Awesome!  Keep it up!
It'd be pretty neat to have 100% sell-out for a year.

SPQR

The morning had a brisk chill in the deep hollars of southern Kentucky.  It was the kind of territory where you had to pump in daylight and send word to Yankees to get Shoot Bosses.  Ol SPQR was barking the line blabbering on about this or that when he wheeled on the taciturn Blue Hat working the left side of the line.

"Its about time for you to take over Kentucky and put an Orange Hat on," he said with the casual confidence of a man used to being right about this sort of thing.
"Oh, I don't know about that," the Blue Hat said quietly.
"Luckily I do, " SPQR replied.  "You're already doing the job so you might as well get that title, that way there is someone to blame."

It happened just like that.  O0

:P   Well, you see, I had two options.  I could tell a story where you were the hero or tell a story where I was a hero... Anyway, I like to toot my own horn.

but seriously folks...   I think it is awesome this is happening.  I think it is a total reflection of the efforts you made and not a fluke and that its a testament to your leadership.  GREAT JOB!     O0

Since I am assuming that UL is "the Blue Hat" in questions, I'd like to extend not only "Congrats!" but a "thank you" - both for past efforts, and future ones.

I'll save a spot for you on the lead float in the Victory Parade down Pennsylvania Ave (and I'll try and get you in at the front of the line for the dedication that same week of the new Appleseed Museum On The Mall, but can't make any promises about that...).
