howdy

willorith is puttin on a shindig at Hernando Sportsmans Club March 10-11. This is a nice venue in West Central Fla. on the coast. Good range food, pleasant company amongst like-minded individuals and a chance to hone your intsructor and/or shooting skills. Seating is limited, so act today!

We are looking at a decent turnout and additional instructors would be nice. So far, there is a shoot boss and 1 orange hat signed up. This is stretching the instructor/student ratio a bit thin. Please check calendars and see if you can make it over to Brooksville for the shoot.

Out of state instructors would just find out how good life is here, and move here, leaving their states dangerously understaffed. So help us out here Fla instructors and it will remain our secret...

sorry, but we have a brand new venue on the other side of the state that same weekend,  :slap: if you can convince 9mm4545 that he doesn't need the help  ??? I might be able to help
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.

I checked instructor scheduling and it looks like they have 6 instructors for the new event, so I will be signing up!

Appreciate the support! Unless I am doing something wrong, I only see the St. Augustine shoot as the other shoot in Florida that weekend. Palm Bay is the weekend after that?

I believe that Palm Bay is the first weekend in March. Although Smoak will be sorely missed at St. Augustine, we will muddle through somehow without him.

I read the schedule wrong. St. auggie is the same weekend, and palm bay is the weekend before. I still may not work palm bay, but now I am torn between hernando and st. auggie. I guess I need to know where I am needed more

thanks for reminding me to look into this. HSC is the first venue I secured and as such, will always hold a fond little mushy spot in my heart. This will be the first event at HSC I didn't run. I'll PM west151precinct and see if he can make it.
