Day one down at Bonfield, IL and it was a great day at the Illinois State Rifle Association range. It looked like we were going to get rained on but after a few sprinkles we had cloudy but nice shooting weather all day Saturday. The shooters made great progress with a couple knocking at the door (207). Tomorrow should be a great day!

Sunday was a another great day at Bonfield, IL for Appleseed. The weather threatened to turn into a Winterseed. We were feeling quite a wind chill and when I thought I saw a snowflake the line went wild with anticipation for the coveted, cold-weather patch ...but it was not to be.  :-[  However, the shooters persisted and the result was 2 new Riflemen and 2 re-qualifications.  O0 :bow:

Congratulations to Eric & Jon on shooting Riflemen scores and Amber Waves and Eric for re-qualifying scores.  :bow: :bow: :bow: Also Amber Waves and Jon (son of JR) took Orange Hats.  O0 Congratulations to JR on advancing to IIT2.  :cool2:

Pat, you did a great job and progressed a lot. Keep dry firing and you will earn the patch.

Karl (get the PC done and get that RH), JR, and Amber Waves (AC) did a great job and I credit a lot of our success to their efforts. Thanks for a great weekend.

Okay I know I'm his wife, but you should have seen how hard I worked to get my orange hat.   He had me do admin and gopher for him and he had me shoot a rifleman score, too.   ~~:)

And it was so much fun!

It was great working with you, Karl, JR and Jon jr.  Heck, I volunteered to help you Tornado, but someone has to give you a hard time.

 ^:)^ Jon is so happy with his Rifleman and Orange hat.  We will get him on the forum soon.  Many thanks to Tornado and Karl for this weekends work as well as Wurstmacher, 2ClicksLow, Ewald, Stom and all the other folks that helped him along the way this year.  We're happy to be part of such a great team.
