My wife and daughter went to the Montpelier shoot, wife has been before. This was my daughters first Appleseed. Unfortunately she was between 2 30 cal rifles. The noise scared her at first but after a few minutes, ear plugs and headphones, thanks Brian, she was ready to shoot. Well the pics speak for themselves. Then we went to the Buckingham Appleseed. She is shooting in the 150-160 range now. We need to prictice more at home, but I know she can and will defend herself.I also brought a family from church, the wife has never shot before, the first red coat target she didnt even hit the paper, the end of the day Saturday she hit 12 of the 13 shots, even got the head shot. Thanks to everyone that makes this possible, and the loan of the rifle for my friends.

Thanks for the photos. She is looking good. I'm sure that she will be joining the ranks of Riflemen (and women) soon.

Heck, if I cannot shoot my rifles, someone else ought to ;D ;D ;D.  It was a pleasure to make someone's day better by putting the Marlin in her hands.  I keep thinking I need to increase my loaner fleet since they get used so often.
