30 Young Marines from Tustin, CA and Palmdale, CA made the trip up to Ridgecrest along with 6 locals.

First Redcoat showed lots of room for improvement, so off we went.

It went a little slow with all the youngsters, but we got a lot of good instruction in and started to see groups shrink.  Sat afternooon Redcaot was much improved.

The kids were really into the history and a great time was had by all.

After they left we shot another AQT and Butch shot a 195 with his Mini-14.

Lots of activity at this shoot with two groups of Young Marines from Tustin and Muroc.  Their enthusiasm was infectous and they really got down to business on Sunday.  We also had Butch, Hope and family, and Jim and Corey.  It was a pleasure working with this fine group of Americans; it made the haul from Vegas well worth it  ;D

Great Job, Guys!!! Looks like fun working with the kids... :slap:

After you get past the sheer terror      :bomb:   of working with them, the pride of seeing their improvement, and knowing they are the future of our country, makes it worthwhile that they are now doused with their heritage, which will be passed on to THEIR posterity!

My hats off to you all....

Proverbs 22:3  -  A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even when checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy, nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory or defeat".
