The weekend started off a little rough when I lost five new target backers on the way to the range-not a happy thing to discover at 6 AM seventy miles and two counties away from home. Fortunately things improved from there.

We had seven shooters Saturday with four returnees ((Harry, Cynthia, Eli, Melissa), and three new to AS (Rick, Colette, and Rita). Rita and Colette were new to shooting as well. Saturday was a bit slow, but most were up to speed by the end of the day. Sunday we lost two and gained two more, so we still ended up with seven.

Congratulations to Eli who shot Rifleman at his second AS. There were others with good scores as well, so there are many more potential Riflemen and women in Mariposa.

Thanks to the Mariposa range, and especially to Jeff who came out both days just to cook lunch-we appreciate the hospitality. Thanks also to Krahnic and Scottyl33t who came to help Saturday, and Harry who helped me keep an eye on the line Sunday. See you on the trail.

G56 out.

We're surrounded...that simplfies the problem.
