All,

As was discussed yesterday at the Atlanta shoot, the 2011 Gun Rights Policy Conference will be in Chicago next month at the airport Hilton.  RWVA will have a booth at the conference.  Funfaler and I attended the 2009 GRPC in St. Louis and made contacts with folks from across the country (picked up a few ranges too...).

So if you are not covering a shoot that weekend and wouldn't mind hanging out with several hundred folks who are working the same direction we are, make plans to be there.  Oh, and it's FREE.
Rooms are available at the Hilton however, several of the northern Indiana folks said camping is available fairly close to the state line along with rail service.

It starts Friday evening with a reception but the real conference kicks off with breakfast on Saturday and goes to midday Sunday.

Please post here if you intend to attend so we know who to look for.

Since I have been asked, there will be no reimbursable travel costs for attendance.

What a nation has done, a nation can aspire to.
Dr. Jerry Pournelle

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck."
