Hi everyone, greetings from the "Moscow of the Midwest" up here in Minnesota  ;)

I was doing an image search for some research on a dress I'm working on, and I came across this organization/conference that might be of interest to you for promotions: http://www.libertyday.net/

They commemorate Patrick Henry's "Liberty or Death" speech given on March 23, 1775. So I'm guessing their next conference event will run Friday, March 23, 2012 - Saturday, March 24, 2012. Sounds like many of them would enjoy Project Appleseed, too! (and maybe some Illinois Appleseeders are already in on it). Here is their statement:
Quote
"The Liberty Day Foundation was established by several families in northern Illinois with the purpose of stirring the hearts of Christians to consider the many facets of liberty; and to remember the principles, vision, faith, and sacrifices of those who have gone before and given us the unique country that we enjoy today. We are their posterity and must be careful not to waste their extreme efforts and must beseech heaven, and do our part, to preserve the legacy for our posterity. May God grant us the heart to do it, Amen!"
It sounds like a great group and a fun event! I will try to get there from Minnesota and participate this coming March ;D

I also wanted to say it was great to see your Appleseed billboard on I-55 about 50 miles north of St. Louis in mid-June! My son and I cheered when we saw it  O0 We just got back from a long road trip visiting family.

Glad you can take pride in our Bill Board sign. I am certain it has helped drive numbers for our shoots in Southern Illinois
at least giving us a visual presence.

THanks for the heads up on this organization. I will follow up on them and see if we can mine their membership to come out to an AS event.
I agree, I am certain they will enjoy it.

Cheers,

CM

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."  one who has not qualified himself with the M-16 may not be considered to be a responsible citizen."

"Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in
