Howdy neighbors!

Been to one of Fred's AIBCs yet?  Miss one in your own state?  It looks like we're going to have some extra room at the Buckeye AZ (just West of Phoenix on I-10) AIBC on July 30-31 - details at http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=18680.0 .  C'mon out and join us, we'd hate to see any empty seats when there are still IITs and instructors nearby that have not yet attended one of these.

Yes, central AZ can be a bit warm in July, but the first rate Genaral Joe Foss Range clubhouse is cool and comfortable, and we couldn't ask for a better venue.  In addition to the Goodyear hotel listed on the fact-sheet, there are at least three "cheap" ($40-$50 / night) mom & pop motels much closer in the small town of Buckeye that for some reason don't take reservations by phone (they cater primarily to truckers and highway workers), and if you're a fan of kitchy retro road Americana, the world famous Space Age Lodge (http://www.bestwesternspaceagelodge.com/) is within a half-hour to the South in Gila Bend.
Talk is cheap because the supply exceeds the demand.

Do or do not - there is no "try."'  -Yoda
