Welcome New Red Hat Sureshot to the Instructor Corps.
Dan dug into the program over 2 years ago at his first shoot and hasn't stopped.
Those at Saratoga this past weekend April 16 / 17 got to see and touch his Brown Bess that was actually used in the Revolutionary War. Nice find.

Across the State and Northeast, Team Northeast, we got something going on here.

 ^:)^   ^:)^  CONGRATULATIONS DAN!!!   I know you earned that Red Hat.  We have a great team of Bosses, and Instructors that really help us along the trail,  help us be the best IIT's & instructors we can be.   Hats don't just get tossed around here in NY......   The spoken, & sometimes unspoken goal, is to build a superior  TEAM NORTHEAST!! And with you being the latest addition, moving up to a FULL Red Hat Instructor, that goal has been met yet again by our great group of mentors!  Again.... GREAT JOB SURESHOT!    ^:)^   ^:)^

Thank you all, very humbling weekend. Time has gone by quickly since my first Appleseed in 09, but isn't that the case with anything were passionate about? As many of you know I took the scenic tour getting my rifleman and have been hooked ever since. I can think of no better way of paying tribute to those early brave colonists than to be instilling and teaching one of their most cherished skills... marksmanship. The skill that instills the confidence that when all else has failed they were empowered and capable of defending their way of life.

Congrats on attaining the red hat.

Two new red hats in NY, and both given to someone named Dan, both started with Appleseed in 2009.  I wonder what the odds are of that.
