We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Hey Texas,

I am popping in here to let you all know something:

A portion of your 136th AW out of Ft. Worth is here with me in Afghanistan.  I've had the pleasure of working with Texans before, but not on the level that I am here, and I am glad that I am.

I wanted to tell you all that if the people here are any indiciation of the fortitude of the Texas Appleseed Project, then I'm really looking forward to getting on the trail down yonder.

I hope I see you all on the trail.  Pics coming soon!

West,
Glad to see you here on the net.  Can you say where you're at in A-stan?  I was in Kandahar a few years ago--not someplace I would look forward to seeing again.
Be safe and if you need anything, send me a PM.

A moral compass provides a basis for making decisions; an action is good or bad, right or wrong when viewed in the light of the individual's moral bearing. If no moral compass exists for the individual, then decisions and actions are made on the basis of purely subjective thoughts. This leads to "If it makes me happy, or makes me feel good, or if it's something I simply want to do, then it is right and good."
