Annapolis, MD March 11-12, 2011  Anne Arundel Fish And Game Assc

Saturday... Great group of students...12 folks on the line.. weather was windy and in very chilly til about 3PM...
The morning started slow with some new shooters learning their way around their rifles, but picked up the pace by 11AM.
Managed to barely squeeze in 1 AQT by days end, and I'm glad we did! 2 Rifleman patches were earned, and many others showed promise..  MANY shooters were only signed up for 1 day

Sunday... Great weather, sunny and 50's.... 7 students on the line.. again all showing promise. A few "youngsters" needed a lot of attention and guidance, but hey.. that's what we're all about. Ian, a 5 time Appleseeder, finally made it over the hump and earned his patch with a convincing 221... Congrats to him for his persistence and achievement!

Overall, a great, but unusual group of students, in that they we're mostly 1 day sign ups....

BIG congratulations are in order to Patent Guy for demonstrating all skills required to become eligible as only the 2nd Red Hat Instructor in Maryland, ever!  Special thanks are also due to Brickhouse completing her 4th shoot with us, as a SBIT... Now I gotta petition someone to recognize her achievements, as she's consistently done an outstanding job for us, and welcome to work with ANYTIME she chooses... Heck, we might just have to adopt her from our WV brethren....We also have our 1st Applecore candidate... a former Appleseed student, and outstanding young 6th grader named Maddye... She was a BIG help with parking directions and sign ins...

Thanks to all the instuctors, volunteers and students for an outstanding class...    BeSwift
