What a day!

We had nine fantastic shooters, all of whom weathered the cold morning and the warm, bright afternoon with equal aplomb, lying in about three inches of icy water I shall hencefore refer to as 'Lake Rifleman'.

The first AQT of the day, and his first AQT ever, Matt shot a 215.  He followed it up with a 216, just so we knew it wasn't a fluke.

Christian and Boris were next with a 218 and another 215, proving that persistence and practice will get it done.  ^:)^

All of our shooters showed awesome improvement over the course of the day, and I hope to see them again in April.

This was a great event. Nine shooters, three riflemen, and good weather. Well good weather for Massachusetts, that is.

Unhappy it is ... to reflect that a brother's sword has been sheathed in a brother's breast, and that the once happy and peaceful plains of America are either to be drenched with blood or inhabited by slaves. Sad alternative! But can a virtuous man hesitate in his choice?
