Hello,looking for a web site to get a couple of slings was going to order form the appleseed store but the shoot me and my son a going to is coming up pretty quick and need the asap,and the appleseed store is ran by volunteers  and they only ship once a week. Thanks for your help!!!
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.

Recommend contacting the Gun Parts Corporation, aka Numrich Arms, of West Hurley, NY...have 'em running from used through new for somewhere around $7 -15, depending on  couple of different things - suspect their web site can tell you more - very good source for all present/former military parts & accessories...
Have stopped by their customer counter a number of times to drop off AS trifolds and shoot announcements...good people.

Always try to get REAL USGI, some of the copies are not so great and need some "fine tuning" to stay tight. No big deal, your shoot boss will know how to fix it if it is loose. I don't remember what part of the State your in, but they are readily available at the DuPage Co. and Kane Co. Gun Shows. I can't recall his name, but there is a vender with dark curly hair and glasses that always has a few tables where he sells used USGI Rifle parts, primarily M16 Uppers. He prices them around 8-10 FRN's for new ones.

I'm in vermilion county Il.  Danville to be exact i think there is a gun show in hoopeston Il. coming up soon i might check there but thanks for the info trying to be ready for the shoot on march 19 and 20 here in danville!!!! cant wait for it

I went though  Creedmoor  for the slings the boy wanted the black ones to match his rifle hope they are good ones..... anyone know about them?

Maybe it's just when I order stuff, but I've never had to wait more than just a couple of days for anything I've ordered from the Appleseed store--service from those folks has been excellent--much better than my usual experience with GPC.

If you must have black - here's an entry level 1907 style sling from DPMS - http://www.dpmsinc.com/store/products/?prod=1097&cat=1811

I own two of these (one on a black synthetic stocked M1A and one on a Marlin 795).

I used the M1A during a long range demo at 500 meters yesterday in Midland.  

I spotted for the others who were struggling to shoot their own scoped rifles until breaking out my old "worn out" rifle  :cool2: and commenced to ringing steel on my second shot after dialing in the correct elevation (inches, minutes, clicks) and estimating the windage adjustment from mechanical zero in 25 mph winds (the first shot was just barely right so I took off one click and started getting hits) .  

I then let two of the shooters borrow the same rifle, explained how to use the sling, and within 2-shots had them ringing steel consistently at 500 meters as well using the same dope I had already put on the sights (has anyone told you that this program works and the same skills apply from 25 meters).  

This sling will work if you like leather (I personally think it's superior) and want to learn how to use it.

nope dont need black really the boy wanted black to match his rifle,green will work just fine.........and yes have been reading up on different shoots around the country and cant wait for the one we will be going to!!!!!!
