Our wonderfully enlightened legislature has again introduced another liberty-infringing bill. This time to address the possession of unloaded guns in public.

That's right, unloaded guns. In public. If you read the text of the bill, the exemptions are convoluted and very confusing. Long story short: Unless you are transporting your firearms in a locked container to an approved place possession of firearms by us mere normal people will essentially be illegal unless in the home or other (few) exempt places.

Without getting into the politics of the situation... I'm just requesting that you call your state congress critters and tell them how you feel about this bill (whether or not you agree with it is up to you).

You can find your legislators' information here: Your Legislature. I'm not meaning for this to be spam, but there could be awful repercussions for all firearms enthusiasts, groups and organizations should this bill become law.
Demnogis, Dem, Brando, B, Moe's son... Any of these work.
