Show Your Support for the Northern Arizona Shooting Range!

On Tuesday, January 18 at 5:30 p.m., the Flagstaff City Council will host a discussion of the Northern Arizona Shooting Range.  While the City Council has no direct authority over the range's development, the meeting will provide an opportunity for gun owners and shooters to publicly express their support for this essential, state-of-the-art shooting facility.  Range opponents will be out in force and must be countered!

The Arizona Game and Fish Department has been attempting to find a location for the Northern Arizona Shooting Range for more than a decade now.  Success has finally been realized and construction has begun!  While representatives from the Department will be on hand to make short presentations detailing the benefits of the range and its location, it is critically important that every supporter attend this meeting and complete "sign up" cards in support of the project (please fill out cards individually, as total numbers will be counted).

Please tell your family, friends and fellow gun owners to come out on Tuesday, January 18 at 5:30 p.m. and show your support for the Northern Arizona Shooting Range.  We need to ensure our voices are heard.

Date/time: Tuesday, January 18, @ 5:30pm

Place:        Flagstaff City Building

                City Council Chambers (ground floor)

211 W Aspen Ave  (1 block N of Old Rt 66 and 1 block W of Humphries St)

*Parking can be found North and West of the building.

Also, in an effort to speed the development of the Northern Arizona Shooting Range site, the Arizona Game and Fish Department is looking for volunteers to assist in the removal of fences from the Foster Ranch property on January 22 and 23.   If you are able to help on these or other dates, please contact Troy Christensen at 623-236-7492 or by email at tchristensen@azgfd.gov.  The Department has been a great supporter of recreational shooting in Arizona and volunteering your time would be a fine gesture of appreciation.
