Another great weekend in Southern Nevada!!  We had 7 shooters Sat morning with myself, Xeyed, Trebleshooter, Range Rat and SniperCat to instruct.  We did the normal Course of Fire for Sat and got in 1 AQT.  Mark shot a 196 shooting at the wrong target.  It was pretty obvious that he was going to get it tomorrow.  Some of the shooters were friends that I met at Front Sight, one of them made the comment that we cover much more in the time given than Front Sight rifle classes do.  That was good to hear.

Sun morning had 3 shooters return and a Sun only.  We did a quick review and had SniperCat work one on one with our new shooter.  She had never shot a rifle before and was shooting 5-6 MOA in 3 squares :---, Julya did exactly what SC told her to.  That goes to show what a teachable attitude and a good instruction will produce.  Unfortunately she could only stay for a couple of hours, but will be in Boulder City next month.  Mark baaaaarely made Rifleman on the first AQT with a 242 ;D which included a 50 on Stage 2.  We mixed up the afternoon with AQT's, Oreos, TV's and other fun targets.  Nicole shot a 204 and is determined to get it in Boulder City next month.

SniperCat will be posting pictures later.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck."
