Everyone!

Don't forget!  RWVA operates as a 501(c)3, otherwise known as a non-profit organization.  This means that donations to RWVA/Appleseed are TAX DEDUCTABLE on your personal income tax return.

If you are looking for a tax deduction for 2010:
        1.   Give to your church
        2.   Give to RWVA

Donations to RWVA / Appleseed can be made here: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/525098584

IRS tax guidelines for charitable contributions are located here:
http://www.irs.gov/charities/contributors/index.html
http://www.stayexempt.irs.gov/Mini-Courses/Can_I_Deduct_My_Charitable_Contributions/can_i_deduct_my_charitable_contributions.aspx

(Please note:  I am not an accountant.  You should check with your accountant and IRS regulations to verify that donations to the RWVA/Appleseed project are tax deductable.  I have spoken with my accountant and she tells me they are eligible.)

So relevant information you showed here. I was searching such tax deductible approach and got it here in your post. I think this is good way of donation with tax deduction. One of my friend also use to donate at such places. I will start doing this from next month.

Also mileage driven for charitable purposes can be entered as a deduction.
