Thank you for your post. I was the coordinator for our local Veterans Day parade and ceremony today. The local turnout was at least double the past years. The Boy Scouts were all in attendance. Full Color Guards from all five local Veteran Organizations. A couple of years ago one Color Guard and rifle squad was barely possible. The local Catholic grade school made cookies and thank you cards for all the Veterans. Yesterday we attended ceremonies at the Catholic schools and the public middle school. This has been one of the best Veteran days I have been involved in the last ten years.
