Well the Appleseed shoot at the Leyden Mass gun club has come and gone. And what a great EVENT it turned out to be!!! I just got a chill up my back visualizing my son Blake shooting his first M1 Garand under Matts expert supervision. I looked for fear and apprehension on Blakes face as he turned to Matt after firing his first round. He had an ear to ear grin and I could tell he was bursting with pride! ;D

What an amazing moment for my son, I couldnt be prouder of him. Such a great kid!!

Thank you Eric for the use of the Leyden Mass range. Thank you to Mike the shoot boss for putting on a safe shoot.

Thank you to all the instructors. Metalgodz, Alix, Matt, David and forgive me if I forget someones name.

Just great to see the shooters earn their rifleman. Very sneaky of the scorers to hide the score from Vickie ;D Up to this point I believed she had scored a 208 and a 209  :wb: I guess Metalgodz is back to cooking????

Mike, thanks for all of the kind words.  Blake did absolutely awesome and I'm glad you both had fun.
