Gun Shows

I'm relatively new here, so please pardon me if this has been covered before.  Is there benefit in having a table at gun shows?  Is it currently being done, and if so, who's doing it?

Hi Charles,
Yes it's being done and I think we've had a number of folks learn about the program from various gun shows that folks have attended.  There are a number of folks that have put them together, I know POP here on the forum has done a number of them as has Spitstickler (he's up in your area) and AlarmList76 in central Texas.  If you're interested in helping at one of them, send me a PM, I'll try to get you guys all connected.

We definitely try to do so as we can. Currently there are more gun shows than we have volunteers to organize them and sit at the booths. There are threads running here looking for help:

In DFW we have materials, banners, handouts, etc. We just need volunteers to help make it happen. Often times these fall on the same weekends of an event so instructors will be away. It'll take effort from everyone to make an Appleseed gun show presence happen consistently. If this is something you would like to help with, I'd love to talk to you about it.
