Okay, there are miles of oceans, sharks, whales, wandering winds and tides between Hawai'i and the Mainland. This is still America and has an interest in rifle marksmanship and our historic heritage. When interested enough to get two solid days of a twenty-five meter rifle range dedicated to an Appleseed, contact me or any of the RWVA, look at what is offered on the forum, certainly ask questions and become assured that if you build it they will come. Bare minimum of one Shoot Boss and one Shoot Box, twenty to thirty prospective Riflemen, a few people to help be range safety officers, one interested in promoting this activity. There are real RWVA IITs, Instructors, and Riflemen among the military service personnel stationed on the islands. All they need to know is that there is a need for their assistance in an Appleseed, promotion, coordination, safety and shooting. Get the word out, you are only alone if you don't communicate :sos: :sos:

Rumor has it that some of RWVA is moving to Hawai'i, you build it and we will come. :cool2: Sure, everyone knows about golf and surfing, but they do shoot competition rifle here, too. If there were more ranges, more public access, there would be more people coming to shoot, and sun. Has anyone approached the Governor and Legislature about that? Anyone tried to get the NRA dragging folks here to convene and shoot? Or are New Mexico, Arizona and Texas going to get all the long range competition riflemen? :-\
... to catch the fire in another American for sharing the skills and our heritage to our posterity. Maybe my perfect shots will be made by those I met along the trials and trails of Appleseed. I know that America is a nation of Riflemen.

The hour is fast approaching,on which the Honor and Success of this army depend. Remember officers and soldiers, that you are Freemen, fighting for the blessings of Liberty - that slavery will be your portion, and that of your posterity, if you do not acquit yourselves like men-1776

"If ever a time should come when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in government, our country will stand in need of it's experienced patriots to prevent it's ruin." Samuel Adams,1780

Lord make me fast and accurate. Let my aim be true, and my hands faster than those who would seek to destroy me.  Grant me victory over my foes, and those  that wish to do harm to me and mine. Let not my last thought be if I only had my Gun; and Lord if today is truly the day that you take me home, let me die in a pile of empty brass.
