that was a great read. it was kind of an indictment of the 5.56 cartridge, you ask me. also, it was interesting how he recommended over-lubrication to defeat the sand. makes sense.

Last couple years I've been using Mobil-1 on high stress areas; parts like bolt carriers and such.
