We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Thank you to my fellow Appleseeders.

This is a sincere and personal thank you.

Thank you for driving through the night to staff an event.
Thank you for kissing your family goodbye for the weekend.
Thank you for missing sleep to weed-whack the range.
Thank you for stretching your paycheck to print fliers.
Thank you for eating an MRE because you don't have time to cook a proper lunch before the shooting resumes.
Thank you for bringing your friend to an Appleseed.

Thank you for helping to save our country.

That's why we do it.  Because we know we are saving the country -- one Rifleman at a time.

Soon we will again be a nation that knows very well what it is about.

Thank you.

I think it's also important to give thanks to those who spend several hours a day in front of their computer screens with phones glued to their ears doing the unseen business that keeps the rest of us doing those things listed above. Not to mention the weekend "sight-seeing trips" and "fact-finding missions" necessary to keep us rolling. The coordination that makes it all possible. It's all too often a thankless job....

BUT NOT TONIGHT!

Thank you.

Now let me just wipe this brown stuff off my nose..... Seriously MS, without your efforts (and let's lop Dinky in there as well) we might be sitting here talking about our ONE event this summer. Huzzah to both of you. Huzzah.

Thanks MS and Dinky.

I know this sounds very original, but THANK YOU MEANSTREAKER 8) AND DINKY 8) for all the work you guys do on the website, at the IBCs, AND at the AS shoots themselves.  You guys are totally IT!  I-T, IT! :cool2:

MeanStreaker,

Pardon me for putting this here but I'm a newb nad don't seem able to start a thread or send you a PM.  Had to cancel plans to attend Miamisburg this weekend and sent a note on the site but it mentioned contacting you here as well.  So... joined the forum and here I am.  Imagine there's a wait list and don't want another to miss out.  My apologies for missing, the late notice and putting this here.

MeanStreaker

Thank you for letting me know, shootr.  We hope to see you again soon.

And you should have your forum access fixed up for you now to where you can start threads in the Ohio section.   O0

Thanks!  Glad you got this and hope to get in a shoot asap.  Unfortunately got an urgent client issue to resolve and I'll be working over the weekend.  These days, glad for the work.

Going to enjoy hanging around here.

RPD

Let me add my sincere thanks to MS, Dinky, Slim, Luna, DryFire, RedNekEngr, Wildcat and all of the others who I've failed to mention (including Fred, The Guy . . .) who make AS possible (and/or encouraged ME and my family to get involved), not just here but throughout the nation, who are attempting to teach Americans very well what they are about.  The instruction is only part of the teaching, the example is what sticks with most the best.
This is a mission worth supporting . . . you are people worth supporting.

God Bless,
RPD
