Today I received a book I ordered through thriftbooks.com that I am excited about reading. The title is "Ready...Aim..." By Mike Bouley. This book is self published and is based on the author's masters thesis. It is a small, paperback, work with 120 pages of text.  The subtitle is "the Significance of Individual Marksmanship in Decisive Battles of the American Revolutionary War."

After I've read it, I will post a short review.
My father didn't serve in WWII.  It wasn't for lack of trying.  He attempted to enlist 3 separate times.  The last time the doctor said he was too short.  He responded that he signed up again because he said he saw a poster that was recruiting short men to be pilots.  The doctor said, "Short, yes.  But this is ridiculous."  In my book, he's still a hero.
