From the Shoot Boss, Ironmike:

"
An amazing display of fortitude and determination was on display for all to see at the Racine County Line Rifle Club on Saturday and Sunday the 22nd and 23rd of April, 2023.
Eight determined Shooters showed up Saturday morning to show "what they are about". The National Weather Service had posted an early morning temperature of 32 degrees. Mother nature in her caring way blessed us with wind gusts up to 20MPH and she sent us varying periods of rain, sleet and yes... SNOW (can you say Winter Seed!)
Our Shooters thumbed their noses at our kind Mother and went to work. Their spirits were high, and their ears were honed to the instruction.
Early group sizes fluctuated as the Rifleman Skills were honed and on our first AQT at the end of the day we had two score Rifleman. A requalification from Eric (hoping to welcome him back into the Cadre at some point as he has worn a Red hat in the past and has a very pleasant demeanor about him), and a first time Seeder in Jack (we think he would look good in orange?).
Congratulations go/went out to the both of them. Gentlemen... enjoy those Icicle Patches, you deserve them.

Sunday was a nicer day as we started with a temperature of 36. That is until the wind shifted, and we dropped to 33. Oh well; welcome to April in Wisconsin! And yes, we saw a couple of snow flurries about mid-morning (sheesh!).
We had a couple of our shooters who were not able to return today, one of who succumbed to illness from the day before, but were joined by a Shooter who had been to one of our one day Seeds on Saturday, in Hubertus. There he had shot two qualifying scores and went right to work with us as well. Keith is that Shooter's name, and he went on to accumulate THREE more Rifleman scores, including a 233, which was our high score for the weekend (tie to the same score placed by Theokestral, our State Coordinator, who joined us on Sunday. Huzzah!).
All told, we had the honor of spending time to instruct some awesome persons, saw a total of seven Rifleman scores and shared some of the best renderings of April 19th 1775 liberty than anyone could ask for. Thank you, Shooters; may we be so bold as to say Friends?
Comments are encouraged, corrections are appreciated, and pictures are to come.
