A big THANK YOU to On Target Outfitters for opening their wonderful facility to us.  Jeff was gracious and a HUGE help from helping to set up the range, making sure the instructors were settled in the clubhouse and organizing lunch both days.

It was inspiring to have such a large group of youth that were respectful, safe and with teachable attitudes.  The many parents were very supportive observers and paid close attention to the marksmanship and heritage instruction.

CrazyDuckHunter did a great SBIT 2 1/2 in preparation for the big day next week.

Thank you to all the instructors that came to help out!  The weekend flowed very well thanks to your depth of experience.  It was a pleasure learning from each of you. 

John, Mackenzie, Steve, Jeff, Derrick and Blake all cleared Redcoat targets.

Rifleman scores were shot by Jeff, Mackenzie and Toby. 

I look forward to returning to On Target Outfitters next year.

This shoot was an awesome event. Great facility with great people. On Target Outfitters is an organization that really shows what dedicated Americans can do!! I was more and more impressed with the folks and the facility the more I got to know that. Hats off to you all.

A message to the youth and their parents:
Thank you very much for doing what you do. I was greatly impressed by each and every one of you. I cannot say thank you enough. What a paycheck for me just meeting everyone of you and seeing what America is all about. Very inspiring.

Having a event on September 11 is very special especially when a number of the youth were able to tell us details of this date. I stood in awe.

A great big thank you to each instructor that came to volunteer at this event. Made the whole weekend flow smoothly and flawlessly.

Seeing a youth clear a redcoat and scoring way above the 210 with a bolt action that he spent his own money on to purchase was awesome!

We already have a date for next year and we will get it on the schedule very soon.

Many thanks to all the Appleseed Instructors and Volunteers who made this weekend a great event. The marksmanship skills taught during these events have certainly made me a better shooter. More importantly, the way marksmanship is taught at Appleseed events has made me a better instructor. (I must admit I 'Biden'd a few things)

We can't wait for next year.

All I can say is WOW!!
What a great weekend at a fabulous facility with fabulous weather and fabulous people!!

Sunday was proof that all the hard work on Saturday was well worth the effort. With many of the youth using bolt action loaner rifles from OnTarget Outfitters they persevered and were producing outstanding groups and getting their shots off in the allotted time frames.

Congratulations to our new Riflewoman Mackenzie and Rifleman Toby. Also to our host Jeff who re-qualified. (Sorry, I don't have your scores). Just a note that Toby used a bolt action Savage MKII that he bought with his own money and scored rifleman at his first event. Here is young man who knows very well what he is about.

A huge thank-you to Jeff and OnTarget Outfitters for allowing us to use their fabulous facility.

It was a pleasure to get to work with a lot of the Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania instructors. Can't wait to do it again.

Thank you to the Ohio Cadre for showing Jeff what an amazing program this is. And Thank you to Jeff for facilitating and filling the line. It could not have been such a big event without the loaner rifles and mats. I really appreciate everyone making me feel welcome. If you will have me I will be back for another one. Hopefully we can get it going at the Findlay location too.

The event was well organized by CDH and the On Target Outfitters.  Terrific job.
The attendees as noted in other posts were ideal Appleseed's that had the right attitude and next generation ideals.

Meadow has already been in contact with Jeff and Steve Scott for the Findlay events.  the Findlay site is just breaking ground.
