Howdy, Appleseed folks.

My dad, eert, recently took a picture of me running my AR build in the snow, and it was submitted to the SWFA photo contest. I was selected as a finalist, and am now in the running for some really cool prizes, all kinds of scopes and such.

If anyone out there wanted to vote for me, I'd be much obliged. Pictures of said prize in use at shoots to help instruct shooters in any way possible will, of course, be provided. I'm currently in fourth place, but I know with the help of you guys, I can win this thing!

Contest entry link is as follows:

Thanks for the support, all!

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck."

Did it! good luck   Nice picture also.  :cool2:
A moral compass provides a basis for making decisions; an action is good or bad, right or wrong when viewed in the light of the individual's moral bearing. If no moral compass exists for the individual, then decisions and actions are made on the basis of purely subjective thoughts. This leads to "If it makes me happy, or makes me feel good, or if it's something I simply want to do, then it is right and good."

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom,go home from us.We ask not your counsels or arms.Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.May your chains set lightly upon you and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen. Just voted. And didn't have to pick between the lesser of two evils.
My desire to be well informed is currently at odds with my desire to remain sane.

You guys have too much fun.  Here I sit on piles of brass, to stingy to go shoot in fresh deep snow for fear of losing a lousy case.

Yup, voted.

Done , what suzzy said..great picture.

Mark,

I was using Herter's Steel Case cheapo ammo, so I didn't have to worry about brass recycling.  Dirk, however, won't run anything but brass in that Lother-Walther .223 Wylde barrel.  His Da, though stood by and managed to get about 80+% of the brass.

Have you made plans for April 19 yet?

PS- thanks for voting everyone!

Thanks for the votes all! I'm currently tied for second place, thanks to AS!

Revere and I both voted for you, we will put the two other riflemen in the family to vote as well.

Eert,
Still waiting to see if anybody signs up for Three Forks, none so far.
That photo, it looks like Roland was rolling in the snow!
All that powder stuck to him really catches the essence of a walk in the timber on a snowy day.
