NW Region instructors and riflemen,

Registration is available for the KD shoot in Vale, OR on April 27-28.  Here is the link to the Eventbrite registration page:  http://www.eventbrite.com/event/5094232988

I have already registered and paid to attend this event as a shooter.  I hope to see you there.

I just bought my ticket too.  O0
How's the road to the range? Can I pull my 17' trailer up to the primitive camping area (or parking lot)?

I'm not sure what kind of roads trailers can handle.  It is a dirt road.  I'll ask my range contact to find out.  Please stay tuned.

I have a suggestion. Range fees are now $10 per day = $20, but a membership is only $35.
Consider purchasing a membership with the Snake River Sportsmen.

If this is your only shoot there this year, you've made a $15 donation to support a KD range.
If you attend one more event there next year, your membership is free, plus a free sandwich.
If we all did this, just imagine the positive effect on Appleseed's relationship with this range.
I live about 400 miles from Vale but I plan to send in my membership application next week.

Don't be so hasty.  I'm looking at the host application and it appears that club members are not exempt from paying the range fees at this event.  E-mail sent to club leadership to confirm that is the case.

You can definitely get your trailer in. We got a rented caddy DTS in there a few years ago. Fantastic range. One of my most favorite places to visit.

Members pay range fee for organized shoots at Vale.
Buying a membership would be a great way to support the range. Many attendees will wish they lived closer.

Participants will need to bring a spotting scope or binoculars capable of seeing a 1" spotter at 400 yards.

Oh well, it was a nice idea while it lasted. Thanks for catching my error ShadowMan.

The local boots on the ground sent me an e-mail and said it shouldn't be a problem.

R.L. and ShadowMan and I have all been to the range. The road in there will not pose much of a problem with a seventeen' trailer.
I have seen huge "A" class motor homes in there.
I tackle the road with my overloaded (therefore low slung)saturn wagon with out hesatation.
Range policy is no campfires. Cooking stoves are allowed.
There is no water at the range unless god sends a nice cold shower.
Fresh air is abundunt.

Thanks everyone.
I checked out the photos in the AARs from 2010 & 2009 too - look great!

Where did the time go?!

I'll likely be heading over Friday morning to pitch camp then hook up with RD and help set up.  I put the offer out there if anyone needs anything hauled from Boise, my flatbed will have extra space available.

Paul, looks like we'll be neighbors... I'm bringing my trailer too.

During the whole affair, the rebels attacked us in a very scattered, irregular manner, but with perseverance and resolution, nor did they ever dare to form into a regular body. Indeed they knew too well what was proper, to do so. Whoever looks upon them as an irregular mob, will find himself very much mistaken. They have men amongst them who know very well what they are about..."Gen. Hugh, Earl Percy
