Happy Patriot's Day!!

This morning I was able to get out and see the sites of the Three Strikes. The video is exceeding rough, but I thought those of you too far away to see them in real life might get a kick out of it.

1. Lexington Green. We are driving the very same road the British marched to Concord. You will recall in Paul Revere's Ride how the main body veered left at the Green? We still do that today. The Green will be on the right, and we will pass the statue of John Parker:

2. North Bridge. We start on the western side, then cross North Bridge. We look down in the center of the bridge where Ami White hatchets a redcoat. Then we take position just off the road to see where the British forces returning from looking for canon cross back over.

3. Meriam's Corner. We start at the corner itself, looking across the farmland and them up to the heights where the flankers were protecting the main column. Then we turn back, paralleling the road as we approach the stream where the Third Strike finally caught.

You may recall a story about a minuteman taking cover behind a boulder to fire on troops returning from Concord. This is that boulder. It's between Lexington and Concord:

This is Parker's Revenge, much closer to Lexington. It really doesn't look high at all from the road. I'd not want to charge up it though:
