We all know what happened 10 years ago today and that "to rember is to honor"
And while remering that day, I started wondering what happened 236 years ago today,
so I googled "sept 11 1775" and found this-

Ben Franklins snake design-
http://www.ushistory.org/franklin/temple/part4_091175.htm

and a few other links, one that looked interesting had a reference to the Committee of Correspondence,
but the link was dead when I clicked it. So I copied & pasted that on google and found this interesting site-

(Note: some of the records are earlier than 1763, i.e. 1770 )
New Jersey in the American Revolution, 1763-1783: A Documentary History
http://slic.njstatelib.org/NJ_Information/Digital_Collections/NJInTheAmericanRevolution1763-1783/index.php

I clicked on a few of the records and found quite a few interesting historical tidbits. Hopefully those that have the time will find these insightful as well.  :)
