11 shooters joined us a Strategic Edge Range in Chapel Hill TN for a weekend of history and marksmanship. As always, thanks to our host for allowing use of one of their bays for the weekend. Even better, this was one of the few events there that the weather was perfect (for some unlucky reason, we are accustomed to having thunderstorms there).

After we set the stage with history, the hits count target showed us we had a great group of shooters. Everyone progressed well throughout the weekend and we had some demonstrate they know what they are about.

Derrek scored 216 and 218. Chris scored 211. Casey scored a 212 using a sing-shot rifle!

Those that did not qualify showed improvement and were instructed on the use of dry fire practice to maintain the skills learned over the weekend.

Thanks to the cadre for their hard work and the shooters for joining us.

Youth Patches - always thrilled to have youth on the line!

The difference between a novice and a master: the novice does it until they get it right. The master does it until they can't get it wrong.

Another AWSOME event, had a great time. Thanks to all the instructors for sharing all their knowledge and making learning fun. My niece and I had a great time and hope to do it again soon. After making rifleman with a singleshot I think I'll go back to the semiauto, that was tough. Fun and worthwhile but tough. Thanks again, Casey.
