Project Appleseed

14 shooters signed up.  Huzzah!  Looking forward to the weekend.

What a fantastic weekend!  I must have been tired after that event, because it's now Thursday!  The weekend was HOT.  Heat index was 108 on Saturday and hit 110 on Sunday.  Nevertheless, the shooters persisted.

My hats off to the young men from Trail Life.  Several of them had never picked up a rifle before.  They made outstanding progress and had moments where all the fundamentals came together.  Keep at it boys, you will earn that patch.

I also want to make a shout out to some of our instructors:

Tigerdriver:  Great job finishing your PC3....congrats on making to IIT3!

swatcowboy:  Way to hit the ground running.....passing his PC1.  Nice to have you on the Appleseed trail with us brother.

Our other instructors: Captain, Mustang, dart67eb and savvysteve shared their excellent knowledge and Liberty shined bright.  The Founding Fathers would be proud.

Since I was busy talking a lot, I didn't get any pictures.  Can someone post pics from the weekend.
