What an incredible event!  A sold-out shoot that with cancelations and memberships still put 8 shooters on the line and ALL EIGHT SHOOTERS SCORED RIFLEMAN!!!!  Every shooter made Rifleman!!! As instructor or student, I have been to over 175 shoots and never seen nor heard of such a thing.  Our shooters came at all levels of experience from previous Riflemen to new shooters.  They applied themselves and our excellent crew applied their experience and knowledge with great success.

It was a great event.  I really had no idea what I was getting myself into when I showed up.  I appreciate the instructor's professionalism and patience.  I am looking forward to my next event.

As a new redhat from Tennessee i signed up as a student.  I showed up to a couple familiar faces, both instructors and shooters.  I heard excellent presentations on history and was blown away with the marksmanship instruction.  I went from a best of 207 on Sat to 231 on Sun, my personal best.  I look forward to my next shoot at Roanoke, what a beautiful area!!

My first shooting experience was with the NRA, 4 position shoot-for-patches program. Now that I have retired, I have had it in mind to get back to those roots.  My first Appleseed event proved to be an excellent reintroduction  to position shooting. The history lessons grounded the shooting in a rich tradition that makes it all the more satisfying.

I want to give a big thanks to the instructors who invest themselves in this program.  I will be back!

It was a fantastic event!

I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend both days and was only there on Sunday, but working with the students quickly showed they all had the determination to earn the Rifleman patch.

I'm proud of the Virginia Appleseed cadre - a great group of folks to work with.

To the students, I'd be happy to share a range with you anytime!

Another HUZZAH to the class!!  Great job.

Stay Vigilant,
Messer

Wonderful event!  First time going to an Appleseed event and was very much a beginner.  The instructors were patient, thorough, and answered all my questions and more.  I loved their passion for revolutionary history and their encouragement to participate in our local and greater government.

I was very greatful for the use of a loaner rifle and will probably sink more than I should into a 10/22.

Thanks again for the encouragement and helping us get to riflemen!
