The best forum names are given, not chosen.

My original forum name was "Rusty".  My best friend, Ramblin' Wreck, used to make fun of me claiming I had no imagination.  He wasn't wrong.

During KD events, I'd teach about trajectory and talk about the apex - the maximum ordinate.  Long ago teaching KD at the home range in Ramseur, I declared "Maximum Ordinate" would be the coolest forum name, second only to my dear friend Morpheus.

The crew was spicy.  They told me I had 72 hours to change my forum name or they would do it and it would be lost forever.  The nighttime drive back was 12 hours in the rain while I scared 'Wreck in the NC mountain passes.  When the sun came up, I accepted my new forum name.

Tonight, we have a similar story.  ChuckA, a rock star in Illinois, helped with to tonight's door prize drawings using a bundt cake pan to contain the tickets.

Well, much like M.O. there are some areas, such as forum names, where the creativity isn't my strong suit. If "Chuck" had not already been claimed... but it was, so ChuckA... But now on to a song called the Bundt Pan Massacree...

Fair warning, the following tale may feel like an particular thanksgiving ballad, so don't send me to the group w bench... I promise it won't go on for 25 minutes or need a 4 part harmony.

Im traveling for my Grandmothers funeral in PA, she passed just before thanksgiving, and this was when worked for the service. An hour into the 12ish hour drive,  oh expletive.... I left my suit hanging on the bedroom door, so back we go.... Fast forward 10 or so hours to the overnight stay in Wheeling, where the Mennonite kids running up and down the halls late at night was ever so pleasant.

Skip a few verses of the song, to where I didn't realize that dinner wasn't at the folks house, but I can bring the computer and hop on to a great live stream with some of my favorite people, after a dinner that could not be beat. Only to realize, I had forgotten my AS polo at the other house, and needed to find supplies for a drawing.

Remember that line about a funeral? Oh yeah, tonight the age old custom of "hey what of this stuff that we no longer want/need can we send to your house" exchange of things was underway. Now my fiancé  does a lot of baking as did my Gram, and do you remember that bundt pan. This is a song about a bundt pan. Well my Grams bundt pan was one of the items being selected by the future Mrs Bundt Pan to be relocated.

Cue the "I'll just grab this harmless bundt pan, and a few other implements of destruction, and viola a raffle drawing can commence." Famous last words. It was a case of blind justice...

Leave it to Geek (he always seems to be around at pivotal points in my Appleseed journey) and a comment on the live stream, and there you have it folks... Grammy Apgars Bundt Pan Massacree. And a hilarious way that she now gets to be a part of Appleseed.

But you didn't answer the question, are you rehabilitated?

True, it will require a little more story than adopting a valley girl accent, saying "Just Google it," and motioning in the direction of the subject MI.

If two people do it, they may think they're not to be taken seriously.
If three people reference that old song - can you imagine? - they might think there's an Organization.


But if there's a whole thread, they might think it's a movement!

We may have to see what gets generated from the first 2026 event or IBC, where we will have a great time on the bench, talkin about crime, Rugergrabbering and triggerFlicking, and all other kinds of groovy things

Hmmm, I'm thankful I'm too nobody to get this special renaming treatment.

I love the new forum name!  I also love that Grammy gets to be a part of Appleseed forever!

It's coming up right away actually, Feb. 30, 2037.

You could have relocated some of that stuff off to the side of a side road.
